Teachers and schools often misunderstand the application of profile projects. According to Pima, Here are five things teachers need to know about the profile project in order to achieve student competence.

1. Starting from Student Unrest

Profile projects are cross-disciplinary projects that are based on community needs or problems around each school's environment. Therefore, the project must start from a problem, anxiety, or students' challenges to their surroundings.

2. Doesn't have to be in groups

Student competency can be achieved both individually and in groups. Profile project learning should be able to facilitate students to learn independently individually, small group, or large groups, adapt to conditions and needs.

Every activity, Inge followed the guidelines in the book. He chose a simple activity because this was the implementation of the first profile project at his school.

“The book provides a learning canvas, as a discussion tool, think, group work. The canvas can be enlarged according to the number of students. Many activities to choose from, from discussion, holding activities outside the school for observation, game,” explained Inge.

Inge explained, because there are many choices of activities available, he can freely choose according to his needs. As an elementary school teacher, Some of the activities that Inge chose were activities that involved lots of pictures.

“Students are happy and even enthusiastic when I say, Today we continue with the profile project, because there is a picture, there is movement activity," concluded Inge.
