“This book may not be able to immediately reduce waste at home, but my hope is that this book will be a conversation starter about what this really is (zero waste) it could be something we work on," bright Puty Puar from Buibu Read Books, who also compiled this book with GBF.
"In fact, the first thing that is most important to convey to parents about this book is the beginning, part why, that's what's important. Sometimes we know we have to sort the trash, but we don't know why," he continued.
According to Putty, collaboration between schools and parents will have a significant impact. He was sure, The message of the zero waste movement will be more easily accepted by parents if it is conveyed by teachers.
"Especially if it can be part of school assignments or collective reflection at school, this could have a bigger impact,” concluded Puty. (Yosi)
