Nusantara Educator Meeting XII (TPN XII) in the area has been successfully held on 44 City/Regency the entire month June Christmasi. This activity was organized by Foundation Learning Teacher (GBF) together Komunitas Guru Belajar Nusantara, Indonesian Teacher Association, and Nahdlatul Ulama Teacher Association.
The theme "Climate Education and Climate Education" was carried as an effort to confirm the importance of creating an atmosphere of learning that sided with children including the urgency of readiness to face the climate crisis which was a real challenge for all humans.
The theme consists of two different concepts but mutually influential. Both require collective capacity and prioritize a restorative approach. Restorative Approach Talking about responsibility, empathy, justice and equality, involvement of all parties, and harmonious relations.
The climate crisis is very close to students
Najela Shihab, founder of GBF and TPN initiator, explain that this theme is relevant and close to the entire educational ecosystem because the climate talks about humans. He gives an example of a garbage issue that everyone produces.
"Garbage is not only climate education but (Also) educational climate. Imagine studying at school/madrasa full of garbage, does it not affect that human?,"He explained while filling the TPN XII opening talk show some time ago.

According to him, Encouraging students to be proactive against the climate crisis means preparing them to live. The reason, Facing a climate crisis requires a high level of thinking ability and cross -sectors.
“(That matter) requires a deep learning process and cannot be sudden, it takes a long process,he explained.
“And school, We, Being able to trust with these kids for twelve years, is the time to grow all that understanding and competence,"Najelaa continued.
As a tangible form of the theme carried, TPN XII in the area presents a variety of study rooms, namely the educator class, Leader's class, Educational Talkshow, Intelligent Teacher, Student work exhibition, and the educational solution market.
A lot 525 educators share good practices in the educator class and the leader class with more than 11.000 participant. Some of them are about positive discipline, differentiated learning, teaching media, Turn on the Kombel, and community involvement.
Not a great teacher, TPN is a room for learning teachers
Abdulaziz Hafidhurrahman, Chief TPN XII, say, This class provides growth space for teachers by learning from other teachers who have been proven to move changes at the class level, school/madrasah, to the community and the region.
"In TPN we don't learn from experts but from fellow educators. We are not "great teachers" but "learning teachers" because everything is present, both participants and speakers, come to study, share, and grow together,”Said Abdulaziz.
Not only learning from fellow educators, TPN XII also facilitates learning from students through work exhibitions. Total 275 The work was exhibited, Showing various ideas, creativity, and students' concern for the issues around them.
Intelligent Teacher: Comement of conversation for the daily challenges of the teacher
Besides that there is a teacher's quiz (CCG), new and exciting ways of learning that are followed 1139 tim. In contrast to teacher competency development programs in general, CCG helps teachers know the level of competence.

In August, TPN XII in the area will still take place in Melawi Regency, West Kalimantan. After that, All educators will be invited to attend TPN XII Peak on 11-12 Next October at the Cikal Lebak Bulus school.
