Prawira Lembang Middle School Team get awards “Gold Role Model” in the Teacher Quiz event (CCG) held at the summit Archipelago Educators Meeting X on Saturday (21/10) of Basketball Hall, Bung Karno's surge. The team member is Figure Ryanto, Ade Putra, Ade Fajar Firdaus, and Ghea Rizki.
CCG is a formative assessment for teachers and prospective teachers based on the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation 2626 year 2023 regarding teacher competency models. In the semifinals and finals, The CCG is held in a debate format.
“CCG is really cool. We learn to understand our own competence as a teacher but in a fun way, like games, that makes us enthusiastic, full of energy, as long as you follow the steps," say Ade Fajar.
Debate motion in the final round regarding the elimination of multiple choice from all forms of student assessment. The Prawira Lembang Middle School team became the counter team. Ade Farjar and his team argue that eliminating certain assessments means limiting assessment options.
"The question is how we plan, Is it just so that students can only memorize or understand the concept?. If we limit the choice of assessment types, then we don't find the form of assessment that best suits the context at hand,” said Ade Fajar during the debate.
Prawira Middle School: There was a shortage of students
Prawira Lembang Middle School has experienced a decline in the number of students from year to year. This is partly due to parents' lack of awareness of education. There are also students who stop going to school because they want to marry young.
“The problem here is complex. Both children and parents feel that they do not need school. Little registrar. Many of those who have become students often miss classes. Along the way, many students withdrew and their parents asked them to marry young,” said Ade
“Plus the journey from home to school is quite challenging. There is no public transportation, children have to walk on uphill roads, passing through a bamboo forest. The journey is almost an hour,” he continued explaining about the school which is located in Lembang.
Level turnover teachers at Prawira Lembang Middle School at that time were also very high. Many teachers take part in teaching elsewhere because they don't have that status full time. So learning is often just by giving assignments.
In the midst of that difficulty, Prawira Lembang Middle School received support in the form of mentoring from the Merdeka Leaders Campus. Internal problems such as personnel management are assisted so that they can be effective and efficient. Teachers get status full time so that he can focus on teaching students at the junior high school. The school's communication with the foundation is also starting to improve.
For external problems, Prawira Middle School, accompanied by the foundation and KPM, held parenting sessions. The session encouraged parents' awareness of the importance of learning and school.
"The development of Prawira Lembang Middle School began to be seen when the number of students registering for admission increased. The teachers also began to implement contextual and meaningful learning, "parents are starting to get involved in their children's learning," said Ade Fajar.

Intelligent Teacher (CCG): Assessment for Teachers to Know Their Competency Level
CCG is an assessment for teachers to determine their competency level in accordance with the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation 2626 year 2023. This assessment measures pedagogical competence, social competence, personality competence, and social competence.
Each participant will receive a charter containing information on the level of each competency. The charter is complete with feedback, recommendations for what training participants need. This encourages teachers to take training that suits their needs.
