Guru Belajar Foundation is holding another event Intelligent Teacher (CCG), formative assessment for educators to determine their competency level. CCG is a learning series for the XI Archipelago Educators Meeting (TPN XI) which is divided into two levels, namely the regional level and the archipelago level.

Mom Basyaiban, chairman of the TPN XI organizers said, The lack of diversity in efforts to increase teacher competency was the reason for the launch of this program.

First, Teacher competence is not a topic of daily discussion among teachers. Second, There are many teacher competency development programs but few of them help teachers find out their competency level or provide minimal feedback.

Third, program to determine the usual competency level high stakes such as a competency test for promotion, the results of which greatly influence the future of teachers' careers.

“Why the bait back should be more? Like a person who learns to cook, I've read a lot of recipe books, watch lots of cooking tutorials, I've tried cooking too, you still need to taste the food and get input from other people. From there, you can gauge what needs to be improved in your cooking. Same is the case with teachers who teach, Need feedback.”

Feedback given in the form of a charter of competency levels and training recommendations in accordance with the results of each CCG.

Besides luring on 34 area in June-July, The regional level will take place online to facilitate more educators in August. Educators will get about conceptual challenges and practices designed according to the number of numbers 2626 year 2023 regarding the teacher competency model.

The team that passed at the regional level will continue to the archipelago level in November at the top of TPN XI. Educators will face contextual challenges in the debate format.

"CCG is a study room for teachers to know the level of competence in an exciting way. That's also why the CCG participants team is not an individual, so that teachers are accustomed to discussing the competencies they need to master to complete the challenges of teaching,"Explained Maman.

Nurhayati, public high school teacher 3 Sinjai who was a CCG participant last year, expressed his gratitude for participating in this activity. “When participating in CCG, I was actually grateful when I found a mistake. So I still have room to learn, it turns out my weak point is in this part or that part. And what's fun is debating with team members to determine which answer is correct because that's where we get into discussions,” he said.

He is ready to join again at CCG this year, In fact, he's up since he finished participating in CCG last year. According to him, studying at CCG feels different and fun. Questions given and then discussed according to the daily problems he faces at school.

"I've never participated event teachers as fun as CCG. In the beginning, I thought this was a competition but it turned out to be a learning and reflection session, so we know which things we as teachers are doing inappropriately,” concluded Nurhayati. (Yosi)
