As an effort to encourage transformation to face the challenges of education, The peak of the nusantara educator gathering (TPN) XI presents a talkshow titled “Teacher Learning in Future Educational Challenges”, Saturday (02/11) At the BLOC post, Jakarta.

Juliawati from SD Negeri 08 Sanggau, West Kalimantan, who was present as one of the speakers mention that the biggest challenge at this time is to integrate technology effectively and the essence of learning to remain meaningful.

“In the midst of limitations in remote areas, I as a teacher face technological challenges, I try to maintain the essence of learning by combining the development of existing technology and meaningful learning,” said the winner of Ki Hajar Dewantara Awards.

According to him, Student adaptation to technology is very good. However, This is not accompanied by the ability to think critically and emotional levels.

“When for example project -based learning, research needs, keep using technology. But when reflection, collaboration, usually do not use technology but children gather in small groups,” he continued.

Education is collaboration

While Tya Ariestya, a public figure who was present as a resource person, highlighting the importance of the collaboration of parents and teachers in children's education.

“Today's more pleasant learning atmosphere will be a comfortable way for children in school. The material is also easily conveyed collaboration between teacher and parents is the key to the meaning of learning,” he explained

The government also took an important role in answering the challenges of future education. Present Widyaningtya Sistaningrum who explained how the government's position in this regard.

This representative from the Jakarta BPMP underlines the importance of collaboration in the world of education. He explained how the government, Through BPMP, provide support by guaranteeing the quality of education.

“The steps we can take are by reading every existing educational policy, evaluating and monitoring to improve and guarantee the quality of education at the provincial level, including early childhood education, basic education, secondary education, and community education,” he concluded.
